Description

You will design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage secure GCP infrastructure, including Compute Engine, IAM, and VPC networking.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters with a focus on configuration, security, and scalability.
• Build CI/CD pipelines integrating GCP, Kubernetes, and HashiCorp Vault for automated deployments.
• Collaborate with security and development teams to embed Vault and Kubernetes into cloud workflows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience: cluster management, workload orchestration, RBAC, and network policies.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with HashiCorp Vault and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Ability to participate in a paid on-call rotation (approx. every 6-8 weeks).

Preferred Skills

• Specific experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
