Description

You will design and maintain a unified automation ecosystem that spans cloud and on-premises environments using Terraform, Ansible, and OpenShift.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrated automation solutions using Terraform for provisioning, Ansible for configuration, and OpenShift for orchestration.
• Build and maintain hybrid cloud/on-prem platforms, ensuring consistency and repeatability across all environments.
• Develop and support CI/CD and GitOps pipelines that deploy infrastructure and applications end-to-end.
• Integrate observability (Prometheus, Grafana), security controls, and secrets management across all platform layers.
• Troubleshoot cross-platform issues involving infrastructure, configuration management, and container orchestration.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software systems engineering, DevOps, or platform operations.
• Deep experience with Terraform, Ansible, and OpenShift, including how they work together.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end automation workflows from infrastructure provisioning to application orchestration.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for cross-platform automation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps integration for automated deployments.
• Knowledge of security and access controls (RBAC, SSO, secrets management) across infrastructure and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Strong infrastructure foundation in networking, storage, databases, and DNS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing hybrid automation architectures using Terraform, Ansible, and OpenShift.
• Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or OpenShift certifications.
• Familiarity with policy-as-code, governance, and stateful workloads (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) in Kubernetes/OpenShift.
