Description

Own the build, deployment, and monitoring infrastructure for cloud and on-premise environments. Design automated deployment scripts and manage multiple project timelines in an agile setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage AWS infrastructure using EC2, VPC, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, ECS, ECR, RDS, CodeBuild, and CodeCommit.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, uDeploy, Chef, and Ansible.
• Develop and test automated deployment scripts for cloud and on-premise environments.
• Monitor system health using New Relic and manage version control via Git and SVN.
• Support Windows and Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu) operating systems and containerized environments with Docker.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in Build/DevOps Engineering.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, ECS, ECR, RDS, CodeBuild, CodeCommit.
• Experience with CI tools (TeamCity, Jenkins) and configuration management (Chef, Ansible).
• Scripting skills in Python, Powershell, and Shell.
• Knowledge of VCS tools (Git, SVN) including branching and merging strategies.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure and GCP cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS Glue, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
