Description

Manage and troubleshoot applications within an AWS hybrid ecosystem, focusing on EKS, EC2, and advanced Java diagnostics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot applications hosted on AWS using EKS and EC2.
• Perform advanced Java application troubleshooting, including thread and heap analysis.
• Analyze logs using Splunk to pinpoint application issues through ad-hoc queries.
• Mentor technical staff on incident response, triage, and technology stack understanding.
• Author technical documentation and diagrams to support system architecture.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• AWS expertise, specifically with EKS and EC2 in hybrid environments.
• Advanced Java troubleshooting skills including thread and heap analysis.
• Proficiency with .Net and Java.
• Proficiency in Splunk for log analysis and custom query development.
• Experience with APM tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
• Knowledge of OS settings for application performance optimization.
• Experience managing microservices and troubleshooting logging/forwarding issues.
