Description

You lead digital accessibility initiatives, embedding inclusive practices into the product development lifecycle through training, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional reviews of products from research through testing to ensure accessibility compliance.
• Provide training and coaching to product teams to build internal expertise and ownership of accessibility standards.
• Identify and resolve accessibility barriers within software development processes to improve scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise to integrate accessibility into all stages of product development.

Required Skills

• Expert-level understanding of HTML and CSS, with working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG, ARIA, and assistive technologies.
• Experience designing and developing WCAG AA compliant code.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and create educational content for diverse audiences including designers and developers.
• Strong communication skills with the patience to explain accessibility principles repeatedly.
• 10+ years of experience in a relevant combination of education and front-end development.
