Description

Design and integrate control systems for refining and chemical processing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify instrumentation and control systems for new projects and upgrades.
• Develop and integrate control strategies using PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure continuous operations.
• Analyze instrumentation data to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, including drawings, manuals, and procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls engineering within refining, petrochemical, or chemical processing industries.
• Proficiency in PLC programming, DCS configuration, and SCADA systems.
• Deep knowledge of ISA, ANSI, and NFPA industry standards and regulations.
• Experience with HAZOP studies and SIL analysis.
• Strong maintenance and troubleshooting skills for control systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
