Description

Develop power electronics and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) control logic for embedded processors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system modeling, simulation, and verification using MATLAB/Simulink with auto-code generation.
• Perform prototype testing on hardware-in-the-loop systems, variable speed drives, and chillers.
• Design, test, and sustain electronic Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assemblies and components.
• Execute prototype testing to confirm product operation against documented requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in electrical or controls engineering.
• Extensive experience writing controls for Variable Speed Drives (VSD).
• Advanced proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Experience with auto-code generation for embedded processors.
• Background in power electronics and VSD control development.
• Ability to design and test electronic PCB assemblies.
• Experience conducting hardware-in-loop (HIL) system testing.
• Ability to work onsite full-time in New Freedom, PA.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degree in a relevant engineering field.
