Description

You will design, implement, and improve electrical facilities and systems for commercial, industrial, and utility purposes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems and methodologies applying electrical theory to engineering projects.
• Direct construction, installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with codes and specifications.
• Perform detailed calculations to establish construction standards and prepare material or equipment purchase specifications.
• Oversee project construction to ensure completion on time, within budget, and according to technical drawings.
• Manage communications power equipment installation including rectifiers, batteries, UPS systems, and cable racking infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• BS in Electrical or Controls Engineering.
• Extensive understanding of communications power procedures.
• Hands-on experience with batteries and DC Power Systems.
• Familiarity with NEC codes and standards regarding ampacity, grounding, and cable sizing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Ability to prepare and submit Method of Procedures.
• Experience conducting field surveys and analyzing maps, graphs, and diagrams to resolve power system problems.
