Description

You will provide electrical engineering support for the manufacture of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), circuit card assemblies (CCA), and system Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) enclosures for ground combat vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with electronics suppliers onsite to ensure production quality and resolve manufacturing process concerns.
• Investigate and evaluate supplier quality problems through defect investigations and trend analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and root-cause analysis activities to eliminate non-conformance recurrence.
• Assess the impact of nonconforming products and evaluate supplier corrective actions.
• Communicate technical requirements and progress reports to ensure suppliers meet all expectations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering within a relevant industry.
• Hands-on experience with printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) and circuit card assembly (CCA) design and manufacture.
• Working knowledge and familiarity with IPC-A-600 and IPC J-STD-001 standards.
• Experience with Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective/Preventative Actions.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 standards.
