Description

You will lead embedded firmware development for cloud-managed routers, focusing on Wi-Fi 5, 6E, and 7 standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead firmware development for Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), and Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be).
• Develop and maintain firmware for networking devices using UNIX, VxWorks, and LynxOS.
• Optimize low-level code for PowerPC, MIPS, and Intel x86 processors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Embedded C programming.
• Deep experience programming IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi protocols.
• Proficiency in C, Java, k-shell/Bash, and PowerPC Assembly.
• Strong background in embedded systems, UNIX-based OS, and real-time environments.
• Hands-on experience with SparcV, PowerPC 850/750, MIPS R3000, Intel x86, AT&T DSP32C, TI TMS320C31, or Zilog Z8000.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols and cloud-managed router technologies.
