Description

You will lead technical requirement gathering and manage project risks for embedded systems in Industrial Automation. You will own the technical scope and ensure team adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Own technical requirement gathering and clarify project scopes for the team.
• Manage project risks and proactively address customer needs.
• Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to ensure system reliability and safety.
• Provide technical input during design and architecture reviews.
• Drive knowledge sharing and maintain compliance with audit findings and naming conventions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in the Industrial Automation domain.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming with strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux, including kernel configuration and device drivers.
• Deep understanding of embedded systems architecture, microprocessors, and microcontrollers (8/16/32 bit).
• Experience with RTOS environments such as Yocto, Buildroot, VxWorks, Zephyr, or FreeRTOS.
• Expertise in networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, SNTP, PTP, and Redfish.
• Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics for component interfacing.
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as JTAG, GDB, printk, kernel logging, Perf, and Valgrind.
• Experience with version control (Git/SVN) and build systems like CMake or Make.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Machine Learning or AI algorithms on embedded devices.
• Knowledge of IoT protocols such as MQTT or CoAP.
