Description

You will lead technical requirements and risk management for embedded systems in Industrial Automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own technical scope and gather requirements for embedded projects.
• Manage project risks and address customer needs proactively.
• Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for system reliability.
• Provide technical input during design and architecture reviews.
• Drive knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with audit findings.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Industrial Automation.
• Proficiency in C/C++ with strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux, kernel configuration, and device drivers.
• Deep understanding of embedded architecture, microprocessors, and microcontrollers (8/16/32 bit).
• Experience with RTOS environments such as Yocto, Buildroot, VxWorks, Zephyr, or FreeRTOS.
• Expertise in networking protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, SNTP, PTP, and Redfish.
• Ability to read hardware schematics for component interfacing.
• Proficiency with debugging tools: JTAG, GDB, printk, Perf, and Valgrind.
• Experience with Git/SVN and build systems like CMake or Make.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Machine Learning or AI algorithms on embedded devices.
• Knowledge of IoT protocols such as MQTT or CoAP.
