Description

You will design, develop, and test real-time embedded software systems for deployment on embedded Linux platforms. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain real-time embedded software using C++ and object-oriented design patterns.
• Debug complex technical issues and resolve defects in embedded environments.
• Execute code integration, configuration management, and release processes using version control tools.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure software quality and prevent defects.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to established software quality processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in C++ programming with strong knowledge of OOAD and design patterns.
• Experience with embedded Linux development and cross-compilation tools like Yocto.
• Proficiency with Qt, Squish, and Google Test Framework for UI and testing.
• Knowledge of communication protocols including CAN, ISOBUS, SAE J1939, and TCP/IP.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
• Proficiency with version control systems including Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
• Experience with software debugging tools and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Agile Scrum, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD).
