Description

You will develop embedded software for engine and machine control systems, owning the lifecycle from design to release.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software features using C and Matlab/Simulink.
• Design, develop, and test library software based on system requirements.
• Collaborate with architects to merge software activities into the mainline library release.
• Troubleshoot software issues using a debugger to support process partners.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of industry embedded software development experience.
• 2+ years of embedded C programming.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field.
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink.
• Experience using Trace 32 Debugger and CANalyzer.
• Working knowledge of CAN/SAE J1939 protocols.
• Experience with Git and Clearcase.
• Ability to use MS Office and Visio.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python scripting.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Knowledge of diesel engine control and operation.
