Own the full development lifecycle for high-scale distributed systems, applying AI/ML expertise and coaching to drive engineering excellence.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build object-oriented services in Java and Python, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling to automate testing and deployment.
• Coach team members on TDD, clean code, and Agile best practices.
• Optimize database schemas and system architecture for cost and reliability.
• Integrate AI components, including LLMs and RAG architectures, into production systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with Spring Boot, FastAPI, or similar backend frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills and experience designing relational database schemas.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest, Selenium) and CI/CD tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/ML models (LLMs, CNNs, RNNs) and MLOps.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies like Angular or React.
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka and API design (REST, GraphQL).
