Description

You will lead the design, development, and lifecycle management of PowerBuilder applications to support modernized digital infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of PowerBuilder applications, including creating run-time executables.
• Drive application architecture to ensure high performance, availability, and service reuse.
• Manage the full application lifecycle, including implementation, versioning, and depreciation.
• Establish and enforce technical standards, coding practices, and automated testing protocols.
• Mentor junior developers and manage resource utilization for efficient delivery.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of PowerBuilder development, specifically using Appeon version 2017 or above.
• Proven experience building and creating run-time executables for PowerBuilder applications.
• Expertise in database programming using Oracle and SQL.
• Strong proficiency with Stored Procedures and Functions.
• Experience managing application workstreams through the full development lifecycle.
• Ability to document detailed functional and technical requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices and GIT source control.
• Knowledge of Unix or Unix scripting.
• Relevant technical certifications.
