Description

You will manage the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of valves, actuators, and related control equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily maintenance and repair for valves, actuators, and accessories.
  • Implement equipment selection for pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical actuators and controllers.
  • Perform troubleshooting, installation, and preventative maintenance on valves, actuators, controllers, and HPUs.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities through internal departmental meetings and remote collaboration.
  • Engage with customers to resolve on-site control valve challenges and discuss service, upgrades, or retrofits.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in commissioning, servicing, and repairing control valves, plug valves, slide valves, butterfly valves, and check valves.
  • Hands-on expertise with actuators and troubleshooting complex valve systems.
  • Deep understanding of valves and actuators used in petrochemical industries and refineries.
  • Knowledge of severe service valves, including production choke, compressor recycle, anti-surge, and turbine bypass valves.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas production and processing facilities.
  • Proficiency with industry standards including IEC, ANSI, API, ASTM, and NACE.
  • Experience using software for commissioning smart positioners and controllers.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.
