Description

You will design, develop, and scale Cloud Identity solutions and core functionalities of Google's Identity platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable distributed systems for user authentication.
• Integrate identity solutions with external providers using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to translate requirements into technical architectures.
• Perform code reviews, conduct root cause analysis, and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Document technical specifications and design decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services and architecture.
• Proven experience building secure, scalable distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of identity management protocols including SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
• Practical knowledge of security principles, secure coding, and threat modeling.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Identity.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure.
