Description
Lead supplier quality operations and manage a team of 15 SQEs across India.
Responsibilities
- Manage supplier compliance through audits, PPAP, and periodic evaluations.
- Lead development and implementation of quality plans, work instructions, and inspection methods.
- Coordinate quality processes in accordance with APQP and customer requirements.
- Oversee new product qualification and ensure supplier accountability with engineering and sourcing teams.
- Direct team activities, including knowledge sharing, training, and supplier quality status reporting.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing engineering.
- Expertise in APQP and PPAP processes.
- Deep knowledge of Aluminium and Iron casting, precision machined parts, and forged parts.
- Proficiency in statistical problem solving and process capability analysis.
- Hands-on experience with product measurement using various gauges and instruments.
- Working knowledge of GD&T inspection methods and equipment.
- Metallurgy analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet strict timing requirements.
- Experience managing conflict across functional and corporate boundaries.
