Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable event-driven microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Integrate and manage Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Optimize data persistence and queries using MongoDB.
• Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift Container Platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producer, consumer, topics, partitions).
• Expertise in MongoDB (schema design, aggregation, indexing).
• Practical experience deploying applications on OpenShift (OCP) or Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Knowledge of RESTful API design, JSON, and message-driven systems.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
