Description

You will manage and maintain large-scale enterprise messaging environments and virtual server infrastructures. You will own the stability and recovery of production Exchange deployments and Active Directory components.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement virtual server environments for enterprise messaging.
• Develop and test disaster recovery procedures for full production Exchange deployments and Active Directory.
• Manage and troubleshoot Group Policy at local, organizational unit, and site levels.
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Blackberry enterprise servers.
• Provide 24x7 response and assistance for urgent messaging and server issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of engineering experience in large messaging system environments.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (2016, DAG replication) and Outlook.
• Experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Novel applications.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP, SNMP, and SMTP protocols.
• Experience with Data Protection Manager and/or Symantec NetBackup.
• Proven ability to integrate heterogeneous mail systems.
• Experience with task automation using PowerShell, PERL, or VBScript.
• Working knowledge of standard tools like LDIFDE.
• Understanding of enterprise mail filtering, anti-spam, and anti-virus solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Exchange related certifications.
• Experience with Ironmail appliances and Microsoft Forefront.
