You will design and build scalable systems for time series data acquisition, cleansing, and analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software solutions for acquiring, analyzing, and cleansing time series data.
• Implement algorithms for trend detection, anomaly detection, and volatility surface fitting.
• Own the release pipeline, applying DevOps best practices to maintain high code quality standards.
• Enhance existing systems to improve performance and integrate new technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system development with business needs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total IT experience, including 5+ years in financial projects.
• Expertise in Python and C# or Java.
• Strong SQL and database programming skills, preferably with MS SQL Server.
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT and Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks.
• Functional expertise in time series management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, PySpark, and Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS and market risk.
• Experience with Xenomorph Timescape EDM+ or similar vendor time series products.
