Description

You will design, develop, and unit test software modules and ETL functionality within an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test ETL applications and data graphs.
• Analyze and optimize Oracle 19c data models, PL/SQL, and Linux scripts for performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot daily production jobs and resolve job failures.
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Develop design documentation, guidelines, and presentation materials.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Pega BIX, ETL, and PL/SQL.
• Expertise in the Pega BIX toolset.
• Strong experience with SQL, mapping, and integration for DB2, Oracle 19c, and Greenplum.
• Proficiency writing scripts using Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and Linux.
• Experience extracting data from DB2, Oracle, and flat files.
• Ability to script in Linux environments to automate ETL solutions and data migration.
• Deep understanding of when to utilize plain SQL versus PL/SQL.
• Experience optimizing code for high-performance processing of large data volumes.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency reading UNIX logs and executing commands for application troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) or Management Information (MI) reporting environments.
• Knowledge of client-server and mainframe-based system connectivity and infrastructure.
