Description

You will own the maintenance, optimization, and governance of the local data environment across multiple SQL servers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, optimize, and govern enhancements to the data environment on several SQL servers.
• Resolve abends and job failures for SSIS packages running on local SQL servers.
• Develop and modify existing ETL logic using stored procedures, FTP, and SSIS packages.
• Validate and monitor ETL feeds to ensure data integrity.
• Respond to and resolve update issues from vendors entering the data environment.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL development.
• Deep expertise in SQL and managing multiple SQL server instances.
• Proficiency in developing, debugging, and optimizing SSIS packages.
• Strong background in C# for data processing and scripting.
• Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Hands-on experience with FTP file transfers and integration.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex job failures and abends.
