Description

You will lead testing efforts for ETL processes, managing data validation and automation across complex systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans, defining resources, test suites, dependencies, and risk for software releases.
• Review technical requirements using data warehouse and BI terminology to produce test strategies, scenarios, and cases.
• Design and implement orchestration of business flows to automate complex testing scenarios.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitate validation using both UI and backend data checks.
• Analyze and manage large datasets, creating and executing complex SQL queries for source-to-target validation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in ETL testing and data validation.
• Expertise in writing and executing test cases for ETL processes.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Bash Scripts for automation script creation.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools, specifically Apache Airflow.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, including type 2 triggers, joins, and aggregation.
• Experience with traditional SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/Redshift).
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Ab Initio.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab.
• Proficiency in interpreting data models and Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake or Redshift cloud data warehouses.
• Familiarity with Informatica, Talend, or Ab Initio ETL tools.
