Description

You will lead the technical investigation of returned products to identify hardware root causes and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive returned product failure analysis and characterize hardware failure modes.
  • Resolve escalated RMAs by performing component-level debugging and fault isolation.
  • Track and report RMA failure trends by product and cause to the Tech Ops team.
  • Monitor process and product corrective actions to verify effectiveness in improving product quality.
  • Maintain accurate data entry within SAP and Salesforce database tools.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in the computer networking industry.
  • Expertise in manufacturing test environments for both PCBAs and box build/system level assemblies.
  • Demonstrated ability in hardware debugging to the component level.
  • Strong Linux system administration knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Linux OS, Tcl, Expect, Shell Script, and Python.
  • Working knowledge of server/client and IP-based networking hardware architecture.
  • Ability to read schematics and view board files using Allegro Viewer and Cadence PCB Design.
  • Familiarity with JTAG, boundary scan, 2-corner, and 4-corner testing.
  • Experience with Network Switches, Terminal Servers, and PDUs.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Salesforce, JIRA, and SAP.
