Description

Architect end-to-end big data solutions with deep expertise in Apache Flink and Java. You will design scalable, fault-tolerant systems and guide engineering teams on cloud-native adoption.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end big data solutions covering ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.
• Build data integration pipelines to ingest data from databases, data warehouses, streaming platforms, and external APIs.
• Architect highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems that handle large data volumes with high availability.
• Evaluate competing technologies and recommend platforms based on business needs and technical requirements.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution blueprints to communicate design decisions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT, with specific deep expertise in Apache Flink.
• Hands-on expertise with recent versions of Java (server-side programming).
• Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and architecting highly available, resilient systems.
• Strong familiarity with Cloud native development patterns and Kubernetes.
• Experience with data storage technologies including RDBMS, MySQL, Postgres, and S3.
• Ability to articulate design tradeoffs and technology choices to executive leadership.
• Good understanding and application of EAI patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python ecosystem.
• Hands-on software development experience in Java and Spring stacks.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies.
