Lead front-end architecture and delivery for complex user-facing web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own front-end architecture, component standards, and delivery approaches using React and TypeScript.
• Partner with UX and product teams to translate designs into accessible, performant, and polished experiences.
• Establish coding standards, testing practices, and design patterns while mentoring development teams.
• Drive performance optimization including Core Web Vitals, bundle splitting, and caching strategies.
• Evaluate technology risks, costs, and scalability, presenting architectural decisions to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant depth in front-end web development.
• Expert-level React proficiency including hooks, component composition, context, and concurrency patterns.
• Strong TypeScript skills with a focus on strict typing, generics, and types-as-design.
• Deep experience with modern build tools: Vite, Webpack, Babel, SWC, and package managers (npm/pnpm/yarn).
• Advanced CSS skills including responsive design, CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS, theming, and styling at scale.
• Proficiency in testing strategies using Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, and E2E tools like Playwright or Cypress.
• API integration expertise with GraphQL and REST, including schema-driven development and client state management.
• Mandatory proficiency using AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for implementation and debugging.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SSR frameworks like Next.js or Remix and SEO considerations.
• Knowledge of micro-frontend patterns, module federation, and design systems (Storybook).
• Experience with rich data visualization (D3, Canvas/WebGL) and enterprise SSO/OIDC integrations.
