Description

Lead front-end architecture and delivery for complex user-facing web applications, owning the technical approach from design to production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable React + TypeScript applications, defining component structures, state management, and routing strategies.
• Establish and enforce front-end standards, including coding conventions, testing practices, and design system integration.
• Drive performance optimization, ensuring Core Web Vitals compliance through bundle splitting, caching, and rendering strategy improvements.
• Collaborate with backend teams on GraphQL/REST API contracts, advocating for efficient data fetching and error handling patterns.
• Mentor development teams, evaluate technology risks, and present architectural decisions to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep front-end specialization.
• Expert-level proficiency in React (hooks, context, concurrency) and TypeScript (generics, strict typing).
• Strong experience with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, Babel, SWC) and package managers.
• Advanced CSS skills for responsive design, theming, and scalable styling architectures.
• Deep knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress).
• Proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for implementation and debugging.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST API integration, including schema design and client-side state management.
• Understanding of web security (XSS/CSRF prevention, secure auth flows) and accessibility (WCAG/ARIA).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SSR/meta-frameworks like Next.js or Remix.
• Familiarity with micro-frontend patterns, module federation, and design systems (Storybook).
