Description

You will own the front-end architecture and delivery of complex, user-facing web applications, setting engineering standards for the team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of modern web experiences using React and TypeScript, owning the front-end architecture.
• Partner with Product and UX to translate designs into polished, accessible, and high-performance interfaces.
• Establish front-end standards for component architecture, state management, testing, and code conventions.
• Drive performance optimization, including Core Web Vitals, bundle splitting, and runtime observability.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts (GraphQL/REST) and implement secure client-side patterns.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep front-end focus.
• Expert-level React proficiency, including hooks, component composition, and rendering behavior.
• Strong TypeScript skills with strictness strategies and modern JavaScript fundamentals.
• Deep experience with modern tooling: Vite/Webpack, Babel/SWC, and package managers.
• Advanced CSS skills for responsive design, theming, and styling at scale.
• Proficiency in testing: Jest/Vitest, React Testing Library, and E2E tools like Playwright or Cypress.
• API integration expertise with GraphQL and REST, including schema-driven development.
• Mandatory proficiency using AI-assisted engineering tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate implementation and debugging.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ARIA) and web security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SSR frameworks like Next.js or Remix.
• Familiarity with design systems (Storybook) and micro-frontend patterns.
• Experience with rich UI visualizations (D3, Canvas) or authentication integrations (OIDC/OAuth2).
