Description

Lead the design, architecture, and development of complex user-facing web applications using React and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own front-end architecture decisions, including state management, routing, and application structure.
• Develop scalable, reusable UI components leveraging existing design system foundations.
• Optimize application performance, including Core Web Vitals, bundle size, and rendering efficiency.
• Define and enforce engineering standards for coding conventions, testing, and component architecture.
• Collaborate with backend teams on REST and GraphQL API integration and error handling strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on front-end development.
• Expert-level proficiency in React, including hooks, component design, and performance optimization.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of front-end build tools (Vite, Webpack, Babel/SWC) and package managers (npm, yarn, pnpm).
• Strong CSS skills, including responsive design and scalable styling approaches (CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS, utility frameworks).
• Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA) and best practices.
• Proven experience optimizing web performance and Core Web Vitals.
• Strong experience integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of web application security best practices (XSS, CSRF prevention, secure authentication patterns).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SSR frameworks such as Next.js or Remix.
• Experience working with design systems, Storybook, or design tokens.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity and code quality.
