Description

You will build and maintain modern, responsive front-end applications for mission-critical cloud-native systems that process real-time situational awareness data.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop intuitive user interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and WebSocket services.
• Implement performant asynchronous data loading strategies for near real-time updates.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to consume microservices and Kafka-based streams.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building modern web applications and user interfaces.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, Promises, and concurrency.
• Experience consuming RESTful web services and APIs.
• Ability to work in Linux-based environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent coding bootcamp experience.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Svelte or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with Kafka, event-driven architectures, and real-time data visualization.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
