Description

You will build and maintain microservices, APIs, and PaaS solutions while transitioning on-premise applications to AWS cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Implement serverless patterns and re-architect containerized applications for cloud-native platforms.
• Build, consume, and manage APIs using secure connectivity protocols and routing best practices.
• Architect systems focused on high availability, cost efficiency, and reliability.
• Establish software engineering practices including TDD/BDD, CI/CD, and test automation.
• Analyze metrics, logs, and costs to identify and resolve performance issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native architecture.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and DevSecOps tools.
• Practical application of TDD/BDD and 12-factor app principles.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and build-to-manage models.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control systems like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, CloudWatch, SumoLogic, Splunk, or New Relic.
