Description

You will own the end-to-end development lifecycle of scalable web applications, from accessible user interfaces to back-end microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications including accessible UIs, GraphQL APIs, and Node.js microservices.
• Build responsive, WCAG-compliant interfaces and optimize front-end performance through lazy loading and code splitting.
• Architect domain-driven microservices using Node.js and API-first design principles.
• Implement security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, and input validation.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using TDD principles with frameworks like Vitest, Jest, or Playwright.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 2+ years of experience with Vue.js, React, or Lit.
• 2+ years of experience developing back-end services with Node.js.
• 1+ years of experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs.
• 1+ years of experience building and deploying microservices in production.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards.
• Experience with OpenAPI specifications.
