Description

You will build and maintain the KIA Connect mobile apps, web portals, and connected car application systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend and backend components using Java, REST services, and Angular JS.
• Design and implement Java/J2EE backend services using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Integration.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers through design, development, and implementation phases.
• Convert monolithic applications into microservices architectures.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce coding standards and ensure stack consistency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in design and development of frontend and backend applications.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Jakarta EE.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) within Linux environments.
• Experience with persistent object components using iBatis/MyBatis and DAO.
• Competency with application servers including JBoss EAP and Apache Tomcat.
• Experience configuring CMS solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Skill in implementing automated testing processes for mobile and backend systems.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka and Redis in-memory storage.
