Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot for fixed income analytics platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Integrate backend services with market data sources, risk analytics systems, and enterprise applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using JUnit and automated testing frameworks.
• Troubleshoot defects, reduce technical debt, and implement improvements to enhance system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex financial technology solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and Agile delivery processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Experience with JUnit and modern software development practices.
• Knowledge of fixed income concepts (duration, convexity, spreads) or experience supporting fixed income applications.
• Experience within financial services environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
