Description

You will serve as a senior technical lead with a heavy focus on backend architecture and hands-on development. You will spend 80% of your time writing code for core features and 20% leading and mentoring junior developers. Your work centers on designing microservices, building API-driven architectures, and managing database schemas.

Responsibilities

• Write code and develop core features for microservices and API-driven architectures.
• Design and implement backend systems using Java and the Spring framework.
• Manage database schemas and optimize SQL queries.
• Lead and mentor junior developers to improve team output.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in Java and the Spring framework.
• Experience building and maintaining Microservices and APIs.
• Proficiency in Javascript with experience in either Angular or React.
• Practical experience working within AWS environments.
• Strong SQL skills for database management.
• Proven experience in a technical lead or mentoring capacity.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate-level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex microservices orchestration.
• Familiarity with additional cloud-native tools beyond AWS.
