Description

You will own the modernization of the financial accounting and forecasting application, focusing on maintainability, performance, and scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Refactor and modernize existing components to improve code quality and system performance.
• Develop and enhance core forecasting engine features for model accuracy and runtime efficiency.
• Support critical quarterly production runs by monitoring execution and ensuring output integrity.
• Diagnose defects, reduce technical debt, and drive continuous improvements aligned with engineering best practices.
• Coordinate across data, services, APIs, and infrastructure layers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience using Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• 2+ years of experience with Java Spring and Spring Boot framework.
• 2+ years of experience with Angular or React UI frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience using Git for source control in team-based environments.
• Familiarity with Unix shell scripting for automation and operational support.
• Ability to write clean code with automated unit and integration tests.
• Strong understanding of Agile development processes and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Skills

• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and align on priorities.
• Exposure to product and project management tools like JIRA.
