Description

You will design and develop full-stack software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot, Java, and RESTful architecture.
• Implement graphical user interfaces using JSP, HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS, and Express/Node.js.
• Develop and maintain Enterprise Java Batch applications using JSR 352 and schedule jobs via Control-M.
• Create data access layers (DAO) to interface with IBM DB2 9.0 on z/OS using SQL, JDBC template, and Hibernate.
• Create proofs of concept and templates for Behavior Driven Development (BDD) testing using Cucumber, Gherkin, and Java.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience with Java and JEE technologies.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot, AngularJS, jQuery, ReactJS, and Express/Node.js.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES13+ features like classes, arrow functions, and modules).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus for deployment to OpenShift and AWS.
• Experience developing SOAP-based Web Services using WS-I standards.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like VersionOne.
• Ability to document solution architecture using UML and IT Governance Frameworks.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
