Description

You will design and develop scalable Java web services and microservices within a distributed architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web-based server-side applications using J2EE technologies.
• Implement distributed architecture using SOAP, REST, and JMS messaging.
• Manage database access and integration using RDBMS and JDBC.
• Architect multi-tiered distributed application designs.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of programming expertise in Java.
• 3-5 years of experience designing Java web services and microservices.
• 5+ years of experience with RDBMS databases and JDBC.
• Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, and Apache/Tomcat.
• Experience with J2EE technologies including JDBC, JSP, Servlets, XML, and DOM/SAX.
• Strong understanding of SOAP and REST web services.
• Experience with JMS messaging.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM WebSphere Process Server, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or MQ.
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure API development and deployment.
• JavaScript experience using AngularJS or jQuery.
