Description

Leads end-to-end delivery of full stack solutions using React, Java Spring Boot, and AWS, owning architecture, security, and operational excellence.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices and UIs using React, TypeScript, Java Spring Boot, and GraphQL/REST.
• Define service boundaries, API contracts, data models, and integration patterns for complex systems.
• Implement secure authentication/authorization using OIDC/OAuth2, JWTs, and least-privilege access control.
• Establish observability practices including structured logging, metrics, tracing, and incident response runbooks.
• Drive technical leadership through code reviews, architecture reviews, and enforcing engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years applied full stack engineering experience delivering production systems.
• Expertise in React, TypeScript, state management, and component design systems.
• Strong Java Spring Boot skills: API design, dependency injection, validation, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in GraphQL (schema design, federation, N+1 mitigation) and REST (OpenAPI, idempotency).
• Hands-on AWS experience: IAM, networking, and operational tooling for cloud-native apps.
• Data layer expertise with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL (advanced SQL, optimization) and AWS Neptune (graph modeling).
• Event-driven systems experience with AWS Kafka (MSK), covering schema evolution and consumer groups.
• Must have demonstrated proficiency using Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot for development acceleration.

Preferred Skills

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK) and containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS).
• Experience defining platform standards, API governance, and reliability SLOs/SLIs.
• Financial Services background and prior experience integrating with Oracle HCM.
