Description

You will build web applications focused on video playback experiences and media metadata.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Craft web applications using React with strong object-oriented or functional design principles.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Build quality products and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
• Provide on-call rotational support as required.
• Integrate media players into web applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of full stack development experience (backend and frontend UI).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Expertise in React and web accessibility fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of async programming models (events, callbacks, promises, async/await).
• Practical experience with AWS technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Git source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Docker.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka.
• STEM BA Degree required.
