Description

You will design and build scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines to support near real-time analytics and application integration.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize multi-layered database structures (raw, refined, curated) to support complex reporting.
• Develop curated data products and semantic models to enable self-serve BI and consistent data consumption.
• Deliver processed data via REST and GraphQL APIs for application integration and tooling.
• Analyze and improve existing pipelines, focusing on data quality, integration stability, and query performance.
• Participate in production support and on-call rotations while adhering to a controlled SDLC environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building end-to-end data pipelines and database structures.
• Strong production engineering skills in Python and/or Java.
• Deep experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Azure, and modern warehousing, preferably Snowflake.
• Expertise in data flow architecture: ingestion, transformation, storage, semantic layer, and consumption (BI/APIs).
• Proven performance tuning skills across pipelines and warehouses (query optimization, partitioning, Spark).
• Experience supporting high-volume, near real-time data needs (millions of rows daily).
• Familiarity with SDLC processes, including code reviews and change management.
• Experience with API development (REST, GraphQL).

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
