Description

You will own functional and data validation testing for wealth management products in a BFSI context.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional understanding of wealth management products, including accounts, positions, holdings, transactions, balances, statements, fees, and corporate actions.
• Design and execute data validation and reconciliation tests for financial transactions and balances using advanced SQL.
• Translate business rules and requirements into testable data validation scenarios and end-to-end system tests.
• Partner with business, product, and engineering teams to clarify requirements, investigate data issues, and provide clear explanations of data breaks.
• Document defects with business context, data evidence, and root-cause insights using Azure DevOps.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in the BFSI domain, specifically testing wealth management products.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript for automation testing.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience with Test Plan and Test Case Development, Review, and Execution.
• Knowledge of end-to-end system testing, regression, mobile testing, functional, sanity, APIs, and integration testing.
• Ability to understand business rules, calculations, and financial logic.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile Methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of wealth management or financial services domains.
