Description

You will design and implement resilient, scalable, and secure cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-premises to Google Cloud migration projects and manage hybrid architectures.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and design cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, SoWs, and transformation roadmaps.
• Build Proof of Concepts (POC) to validate architectural decisions.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary teams and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
• Hands-on expertise with GKE, Compute Engine, AlloyDB, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, and BigQuery.
• Strong knowledge of VPCs, network policies, and Ingress-Egress configurations.
• Experience with Kubernetes administration and manifest creation.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using Jenkins.
• Understanding of Anthos Config Management and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of IAM, firewalls, and network security services.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with enterprise compliance standards such as HIPAA.
