Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Cloud Composer (Airflow) and Python
• Build and manage enterprise data warehouses and analytics solutions using BigQuery
• Perform complex SQL troubleshooting, query optimization, and data validation across large datasets
• Drive data migration initiatives from legacy platforms to GCP with data integrity and compliance focus
• Collaborate with business users, data architects, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Review code, enforce engineering best practices, and provide technical leadership
• Support production deployments, performance tuning, and operational excellence

Required Skills

• Google BigQuery — advanced hands-on experience
• Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow with Python
• Advanced SQL development, debugging, and performance tuning
• Large-scale Data Migration and Data Modernization programs
• Data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data warehousing concepts
• GCP services: Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, IAM, Monitoring, Logging
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in cloud environments
• Agile delivery methodology

Preferred Skills

• Banking, Financial Services, or Wealth Management domain experience
• Data Quality, Data Governance, and Metadata Management frameworks
• GCP Professional Data Engineer Certification
• Migration experience from Teradata, Hadoop, Oracle, or SQL Server to GCP
• QA processes, test case creation, and data validation techniques
