You will lead diverse project teams through the full lifecycle of high-profile design and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
• Manage both the financial and technical aspects of geotechnical projects from proposal through construction.
• Plan and direct geotechnical field observation and testing programs.
• Conduct geotechnical analyses and prepare recommendations, reports, plans, and specifications.
• Mentor and coach team members while managing work assignments.

Required Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of geotechnical experience covering site investigation, laboratory testing, analysis, and construction support.
• 2+ years of experience managing geotechnical engineering projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia, Maryland, and/or Washington, DC, or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months.
• Proficiency in writing, reviewing, and editing technical reports and regulatory submittals.
• Experience in professional services consulting.
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in industry-standard software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in geotechnical engineering.
• OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER certification.
