Description

You will lead the migration of our automation ecosystem from legacy tools to GitLab and Podman, managing enterprise configuration and CI/CD pipeline optimization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end migrations from Jenkins and Automic to GitLab CI/CD.
• Configure and manage GitLab Runners, Groups, Projects, and Permissions at scale.
• Harden GitLab for enterprise usage, including SAML/SSO, LDAP, RBAC, and backup/restore.
• Design and optimize complex CI/CD pipelines using YAML, implementing multi-stage, parallel, and conditional workflows.
• Lead the transition of container build and deployment processes from Docker to Podman/Buildah.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitLab Runners, and GitLab administration.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Solid understanding of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins, Automic, or similar legacy automation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and version control (Git, SVN, Bitbucket).

Preferred Skills

• GitLab Certified CI/CD Specialist or GitLab Administrator Certification.
• Contributions to the GitLab open-source project.
