Description

You will design, build, and maintain backend components for scalable eCommerce and merchandising applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications using cloud platform technologies.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and full-stack engineers to iterate on product design and ship features.
• Identify and uphold engineering best practices within the team.
• Monitor performance and traffic to identify and rectify usability issues.
• Review application code and plan future API upgrades.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong Go programming skills and deep understanding of data structures.
• Extensive experience with Microservices architecture and development.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically Oracle, Postgres, and Cassandra.
• Experience with messaging architectures such as Kafka or equivalent.
• Proven track record of building RESTful APIs and applying REST principles.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
