Description

You will design and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices using Go.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modular microservices leveraging Go concurrency features.
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs with integrated authentication, authorization, and data validation.
• Optimize database schemas and write efficient queries for PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Profile code to identify bottlenecks, ensuring low latency and high throughput.
• Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and manage deployment pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Expertise in Go (Golang).
• Deep understanding of API development, specifically REST and GraphQL.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for service deployment and scaling.
• Ability to design and maintain complex system architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Implement security best practices including encryption and input validation to protect data.
• Set up monitoring and logging systems to track system health and troubleshoot production issues.
